Cheater's Trifle

If you’re ever in the market for a quick and simple dessert that serves one, try the delightfully easy Cheater’s Trifle. A million variations are available, depending on the types of jam or fruit available in your fridge, but you can’t go wrong with strawberry. Utilizing leftover breakfast pastries (in this case a slightly stale doughnut!) and a bit of whipped cream, it is ready in moments and is not even that bad for you!

I make these for the kids and husband on a regular basis when they want something sweet and light after a heavy dinner. Best in the summertime, it really can be eaten all year round.
