Is there anything that gets you into the holiday season like fudge? It is one of those delicious desserts that I associate with Christmas Eve at my grandparents’ house. My grandma would have three or four flavors of fudge, along with an endless buffet of holiday cookies lined up on the hutch in the kitchen.
This is a simple recipe that requires very little effort for a very big reward. And the great thing is that you can change it up however you want for delicious flavor combinations.
The result is a creamy, rich, decadent dessert that will have you floating on sugary chocolate clouds. they are SO amazing that a little goes a long way. I cut the tray into 36 squares, which might even be too little. One of these morsels is MORE than enough to get your chocolate fix, but they are so moreish that it’s hard to stop at just one!
Beware – they are not great for the waistline, but they will certainly put a smile on your face.
