Christmas Craft – DIY Candy Cane Mason Jar

Welcome to Day 4 of our 25 Days of Christmas! Today I wanted to share a super simple but very fun Christmas craft for your enjoyment. It is a great one to do with the kids, and it’ll add such a fun visual element to your Christmas dinner table this year!

Christmas Craft - DIY Candy Cane Mason Jar | A Mother Thing

Here’s what you’ll need:

Four Small Mason Jars
Small bottle of Acrylic Paint- White
Small bottle of Acrylic Paint- Red
Small Paint Brush
Blue Painters Tape
Newspaper or area to allow Jars to dry

Firstly, paint the jars with the white paint, ensuring an even coating all around.

Allow them to dry, at least 2 – 3 hours. Then, take your blue painters tape and tape four vertical stripes up the sides of the jars. Paint the exposed parts with the red paint.

Remove the painters tape while it is still slightly wet. Again, allow the paint to dry for about two hours.

And you’re done. This is a great simple DIY to add to your Christmas tablescape, or for Christmas flowers, candy canes and more! The possibilities are endless!
