Homemade beauty products seem to be my obsession right now. Growing up with awful dry skin and eczema, I have always had an aversion to store-brand products that have loads of chemicals and fragrances added. So when I discovered how SUPER simple it was to create my own beauty products at home, I was over the moon. Not only do you save tons of money, but the products are totally specific to you! And you can change it up whenever you need to.
Today I want to share this incredible Lemon Body scrub. And I have a few more recipes to share with you soon, so stay tuned!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 C Epson salt
1/4 C Olive Oil
1/4 Coconut oil
5-8 drops of Lemon Essence Oil
To begin, pour the Olive Oil and Coconut oil in a medium bowl. Add in the Epsom salt and mix thoroughly. Mix in the lemon essential oil. Stir until fully blended.
Store in an airtight container and keep it closer to your tub for a great skin fix next time you’re in the shower.
Keep checking back for more body scrubs soon! And feel free to share some of your favorite DIY beauty recipes! I’d LOVE to see them!
