Several years ago, my dad was having some health issues. As part of his commitment to fighting them, he decided it was time to really put some effort into losing weight. He’d never been a “big guy.” In all my years, he was always fit. He had a job that required him to be in top condition, and I remember over the years exercising with him in the living room. It was only when he retired that he started putting on weight, and after so many years of constant vigilance, it was kind of funny to see him pack on the pounds.
When I went back for a visit many months after his lifestyle change, I was amazed to hear and see how much progress he’d made. He’d been working on better eating habits, but he said the real secret to his success was a tiny blue pill called alli® weight loss aid for adults 18 years old and above. At that point I’d never heard about it, and so I asked him what was so special. He said it was an over-the-counter weight loss aid you take with your meals that helps so that you don’t absorb so much fat*.
I’ll admit, I was wary. I’d heard about so-called fat blocking pills before so I asked what changed. He told me that the point of alli® is that you have to be careful about what you put into your body. It wasn’t a miracle; it was just an extra boost to your system. He said that he’d lost about a third more weight than he’d expected, and he put it down to the pill.
Of course I had to try it, myself. I’d already lost over 100 lbs in the last few years, but I had a stubborn 25 or so that I really needed to shift. So I made an appointment with my doctor and asked about alli®, the only FDA-approved, over-the-counter weight loss aid.* My doctor said that he had no qualms with me taking it. He’d seen results with his overweight patients, and he thought it could be very helpful to me. So I jumped right in.
It didn’t take me long to start seeing progress. The great thing about alli® is that for every 2 lbs you lose through diet and exercise, it will help you to lose 1 more!* Just stick to a reduced-calorie, low-fat diet – and alli® can help maximize your efforts.
It took me less than three months to lose those 25 lbs**. I don’t claim to be a fitness model, but there was a definite improvement in my physique, and it gave me so much more confidence. I couldn’t recommend it enough!
Of course this was all before I had kids. Since then, I have had three beautiful baby boys, all in the space of less than four years. As you can imagine, my body is DEFINITELY not as it was. So I find myself back on the healthy eating train, trying to shift a much more difficult 60 pounds! I started in mid-January, getting used to a new way of eating. After a few days, I added in alli® to give me the extra oomph. I’m proud to say that as of right now, I have lost just over 16 lbs! Amazing! I am hopeful that continued vigilance and my best little blue pill will see me hitting my goal weight sometime this summer**. At least that’s the hope. I know it would take a lot longer without alli®. My goal is to be able to feel confident in my bikini! I have at least three awesome beach trips in the works this year, and even if I’ve still got a “mom bod,” I want to still feel sexy and beautiful as I continue working toward my ultimate goal weight.
You can find alli® at Walmart, Target, Walgreen’s, CVS, Rite Aid, amazon.com, drugstore.com, and various grocery stores.
