Gingerbread Latte Body Polish
Welcome to Day 14 of our 25 Days of Christmas celebration! Today I have a great post for all you beauty lovers! It gives your beauty routine a fun holiday spin, giving you glowing skin just in time for your holiday party! With just a few ingredients, you can look (and smell!) amazing!
This fun and yummy scented Gingerbread Latte Scrub is perfect for Christmas gifting or to pamper yourself during the hustle and bustle of the season. Made with simple supplies that are likely sitting in your pantry right now, it is quick and easy to toss together. You can use any shape and size glass jar you like, I picked up this cute small jar in the Target Dollar spot. You can also make a half batch, double or triple it to keep and give away. It leaves your feet, hands and body soft, smooth, and moisturized- not to mention the amazing smell that perks you up!
Ingredients:
1 cup coffee grinds/grounds
½ cup coconut oil
1 T. ground ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. vanilla extract
optional-1 tsp. vitamin E
Directions:
Combine coffee, coconut oil, ginger, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a large bowl and stir until thoroughly combined. While the vitamin E is optional it adds an extra skin benefit to the mixture as well as acting as a natural preservative. You can find it at your local health food store or here on Amazon.
Transfer ingredients to a glass jar with an airtight lid.
If you are going to gift your body scrub add a pretty homemade tag and some ribbon or twine to finish it off.
To use:
Rub gently onto damp skin, paying extra attention to areas like feet and elbows, rinse well, then pat dry with a towel.
Allow hot water to run for a couple additional minutes to help rinse away oils down the drain.
Use caution as oils will make surfaces slippery.
There you have it. A perfect beauty pick-me-up for you or a friend. Try it out and let me know how it goes!
