Are you one of those who LOVES white sauce on your pasta? Whether it’s in lasagne or part of a cheesy sauce, it is hard to replicate it if you can’t use traditional wheat flour.
But I have found a super trick, which gives a tasty sauce that you can use as a replacement for any dish that calls for it!
Think it’s too good to be true? Think again.
All you need is 8 oz cream cheese, 3/4 C of milk, a dash of salt and pepper and some nutmeg.
Gently heat the cream cheese until it is totally melted. Add in the milk and whisk together until they form a nice sauce. Add your salt, pepper and nutmeg, and whisk again.
Et voila! This makes a perfect basic white sauce that works in a variety of dishes. Enjoy!
