Sometimes in life, things don’t go the way we plan. Like when your oven breaks down just before you have to fix a big family dinner for the holidays! Or when the end of year bonus you were expecting doesn’t appear in time to buy presents for those you love. So when I was asked to help spread the word about Kmart’s new Lease It program, I was only too happy to do so. This post may be sponsored, but I promise you – it’s worth knowing about!
So what IS the Lease It program? Well, it’s simple, really! Need a big ticket item, but don’t have the funds on hand to get it? The program is perfect for you. Simply put, it’s an easy way for Shop Your Way members to pay for things sold at Kmart. It works across all departments, and it means you can get those items on your wish list NOW.
For instance, I am dying to get my hands on a new camera. I love this one from Kmart’s website, and they make it so easy for me to get it.
And Lease It is a NO CREDIT-REQUIRED financial solution. The only thing you need to provide is a photo ID, age and income! Simple! The minimum purchase amount is only $150 and there is NO maximum! So… if I wanted to get the camera AND an awesome present for my husband, I could easily do both. I wonder what he’d think of this Playstation 4 bundle?
So how does it work, you ask? It only takes a few minutes. You can apply online or in store, and again – no credit required! Contracts are set up with automatic payments either through your bank or credit card. No need to go in store! There is a minimum five months contract for all items, though if you want to pay it off sooner, there’s only a modest fee involved. It couldn’t be simpler!
So if I wanted… oh I don’t know, maybe a new fridge? I could just bebop to the Kmart site and apply for it. Merchandise can only be picked up in store, so I may have to rent a truck… Still, how awesome would a new fridge be?? Totally worth it!
I love the ease of this program and can totally see us using it for Christmas presents or when we need something in an emergency. What would your shopping list look like?
This has been a sponsored post on behalf of Kmart, but all opinions are my own.
