Makeup Tutorial – Queen of Hearts
The Queen of Hearts is probably one of the most popular characters to dress up as for Halloween! I love the bright red and the glitter in this look. If you’re wanting to go all out, use white face makeup. If you just want an “inspired” look, use regular foundation.
After your foundation of choice is applied, we’re going to start with a basic layer of silver eye shadow. Cover the entire eyelid. Add some glitter eye shadow for a more dramatic effect.
Once you’ve covered the eyelid with silver, do a quick sweep of red eye shadow a little under your eyebrows. You can go all the way up to the brow if you want, it just depends on what type of look you’re going for. If you are getting photos done, I would definitely go all the way up with the red and add even MORE glitter.
Using liquid eyeliner, draw a cat eye design – then add some mascara. For Halloween, I’d add lash extensions or fake lashes.
Last is the lips. First, cover them in white eye shadow, then add a tiny bit of red to make it pink. Make a heart in the center of your lips with red lipstick. If you have white or light pink lipstick, you can definitely use that instead of eye shadow. Add a little glitter to only the pink part, so the red lipstick looks bolder.
Pair this look with some cute hair accessories.
