Simple and Elegant Holiday Wreath
It seems like everywhere you look these days, everyone is channeling their inner HGTV star to make their own DIY Holiday Wreaths. They’re huge on Pinterest and Facebook, and each one is as different as the people making them. So I guess it’s no surprise that I’m jumping on the bandwagon by offering this Simple and Elegant Holiday Wreath made from items found at the Dollar store!

If you haven’t been to your local Dollar Tree lately, you probably don’t even realize what an amazing resource they are for crafting! They have an amazing selection of random materials for any craft project, but they are especially valuable around the various holidays. Everything in this craft can be found there, and the fact that everything costs a dollar means this is an especially inexpensive craft to do!
If you don’t have a Dollar Tree near you, never fear. I’ve included links to buy supplies on Amazon. Enjoy!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Glue gun + sticks
- 14 inch Foam wreath form
- 15 ft garland x 2
- Poinsettia Clip
- Matte and glitter ornaments x 7
- Floral picks – 3-4

Wrap your garland around your wreath form tightly to make a full garland wreath circle.

Dollar tree garland has wire and holds better, but still hot glue occasionally to hold into place.

Add your poinsettia clip, and fill in behind the poinsettia with ornaments, hot gluing everything into place.

Trim your floral picks and arrange them around the wreath, hot gluing these as well.

The end result is a very simple and elegant holiday wreath perfect for your front door or hung up inside your home. I love the gold motif, as it sets off the greenery so nicely. It would also work to choose red or silver – whatever strikes your fancy!

This can also make a really lovely gift for a friend or family member. Find out their favorite color and choose accessories that they will enjoy.
