Am I the only one who LOVES to buy cleaning supplies? I know it sounds silly, but there’s something so invigorating about buying just the right product for the job needing done. For instance, we have beautiful wood floors, and we can’t necessarily use any old cleaner on them. To keep them beautiful, we have to use something made specifically for wood floors.
I’m also a sucker for a product that pulls double-duty. If I can use the same product for multiple jobs, it is my new best friend, and I will champion it until the end! So you’d better believe I LOVE a store where I can find everything I need for Spring Cleaning, all in once place. That’s why I adore Sam’s Club and SamsClub.com.
For our wood floors, I’m a big fan of using good tools so I can cut down on chemicals. I love this O-Cedar Dual-Action Microfiber Flip Mop with Extra Refill. It is made with ultra-dense chenille for efficient dry dusting and dirt pickup. On the other side, the scrubbing strips safely remove embedded dirt and give you twice the cleaning power.
And since I have three young boys running around, I have to assume that nearly every surface of our home is covered in snot, poop or peanut butter. Sometimes it’s all three! So I love the ease of bulk buying this Lysol Disinfectant Spray, Crisp Linen Scent. It comes in a handy four-pack so I don’t run out. I just spray down whatever area I’m working in, and I know that it’ll disinfect AND remove odors. I’ll be honest – I keep a bottle in our bathroom at all times now that my middle son is potty training.
And for every day spills and drips, I use these Marathon Center Pull Paper Towel Rolls. These soft, absorbent single-ply towels dry hands quickly and wipe up large spills with no trouble. We always have rolls on hand in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms.
I have a ton of cleaning tips and tricks I’ve shared over the years. Like how to clean a white board. Or how to make your glass-top stove look like new! I’ve even shared my best tips for how to master spring cleaning! But my very best tip is to make sure you Stock Up on great cleaning supplies whenever you find a great deal. And nowhere is there a better deal than at Sam’s Club.
I know that I’m looking forward to throwing open my windows and doors to air out this house, scrubbing it down from top to bottom and then sitting back and relaxing in my gorgeous home as I bid winter adieu till next year. What about you? What are you looking forward to cleaning this year? What are your tried and true tips and tricks for spring cleaning? Leave a comment so we can all learn from each other!
