I feel that they get it every time we go into town and they interact with all the people we run into and meet. As a result, my kids can interact with young and old alike without any problems.

I also hate that argument. School shouldn’t be for socialization anyway, it’s for education. I did dance, gymnastics, homeschool groups, church things, etc. There was no shortage of friends or socializing. Bonus: I learned to socialize with a larger age group than just my grade too!
